The sun shone brightly through the curtains, filling the room with soft golden light.
The atmosphere inside remained cold and peaceful, with the AC humming quietly in the background. Green plants were placed around the room, adding a fresh touch to the cozy space. Framed pieces of art adorned the walls, giving the little flat a warm and artistic feel. Outside, the city had begun to stir, while inside, the morning remained calm and still. On the carpet many paintbrushes were scattered a canvas in the middle water colours markers were everywhere
In the middle of the chaos Kiara was sleeping deeply like she hasn't sleep for days.
The phone buzzed loudly breaking the calm inside the room, kiara stirred and turned to close the alarm she has set up to wake up early because she has to go college.
It was 8'o clock sharp, kiara sat upright rubbing her eyes to see clearly.
Her eyes shot open as she remembered today is her art national competion, that she has been preparing it for days, her laziness flew away and she immediately stood up excitedly a smile spread across her face she turned her heels and walked towards the washroom to get ready for college.
After sometime she came out wearing a dark blue jeans and white shirt hair tied neatly into a ponytail, she stood infront of the mirror looking at herself she picked up her lipgloss and applied it on her lips her favorite flavour orange.
She checked the time on her watch it was 8:45 she immediately took her bag and throw many things some brushes and palletes into her bag and ran out from the room to get to the college.
She walked down the stairs hurriedly, in the living room her mother was arranging the dining table while her father sat on the head of the table reading newspaper he was always strict with her after she has choosed her favorite passion instead of their choice she never get along with her parents, she always try to make them happy but they are always strict with her.
She was going to open the front door but before she could get out her mother's voice make her turn.
Her mother said sacastically without looking up from the table "Where are you going now?"
Kiara replied nervously after many days her mother is talking to her. "Umm...., mom I'm going to college you know..."
Her mother finally looked up from the table and said. "Atleast eat something before going or you want to starve."
Kiara looked at the table then at her mother she rolled her eyes once and walked back towards the table "I will take this orange."
Her mother nodded quietly, Kiara turned to leave but then her father voice made her turn again.
Her father said looking at her "Make sure to arrive early today, don't roam around here and there."
Kiara nodded obidiently and finally walked out.
As she walked out the warm air hit her face her bestfriend car was there, her bestfriend always come to take her college and drop her off too.
Kiara opened the car door and sat inside, she said "Hayee! Why is it sooo hot bro?"
Siya said making temperature more cold for her "Kyuki yeh garmi ka month hai that's why." Siya said softly
"Sorry for being late girl you know my parents always strict their everyday lines they speak to me make sure to arrive early don't roam around and where are you going blah, blah."
Kiara mimicked nonchalantly.
Siya burst into laughter and start driving the car.
Kiara and Siya both were sitting in the canteen of Milliviene High University where only kids of rich parents come and some are selfmade like Ms. Meher Oberoi. Kiara is the second main representative of the university and the Main is Meher. They were talking about teachers and all after kiara give the art competition she wanted to, when suddenly a student walked towards their table.
Both Kiara and Siya stopped mid sentence, that boy spoke "Kiara and Siya principal mam is calling you."
Kiara and Siya passed horrified glares to eachother before walking with that boy
In the principal the atmosphere was quiet almost suffocating Siya was whispering Kiara's ear asking what did we do now while principle looked in her phone.
"Yeah, so you Kiara and Siya have won trophy in art okay, so we want you two to do the national level competition where will be students from other states too, will you want to do?"
Kiara face lit up a smile spread across her face as she nodded with a big smile, while siya also nodded
Kiara asked "Okay mam, but when it will happen and where it will happen?"
Principal looked in her phone before replying "The date is not reaveled yet, but you both should be prepared okay I'm giving you this oppourtunity."
Principal mam stood up and took out the trophy's that were placed on her table and give it to them.
The trophy had their names written and it was all gold and brown kiara hands shook as she took it tears filled up in her eyes a hope sparked in her heart thinking maybe, just maybe her parents let her pursue her dream by seeing this.
The principal shook their hands once before saying. "And yes I don't want complains from teachers of you both now,"
Kiara and Siya nodded before going out.
Kiara jumped in excitment happily her feet barely touching the ground. "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!"
Passing students give them ugly looks before walking away.
Siya said. "Take a chill pill bhen, like we are going."
Kiara said. "Yes weee!"
Both girls jumped in excitment.
While kiara had a little hope in her heart that maybe her parents will let her.

The sun rose slowly, painting the sky in shades of gold and warmth. Soft rays slipped through the curtains, waking the quiet room. A gentle breeze danced through the windows, carrying the freshness of the morning. The world outside was coming alive, wrapped in peaceful silence. It was the kind of morning that made you believe something beautiful was about to begin.
The atmosphere of the room was quite, a peaceful morning after many days of sleepless nights and crying alone at a corner.
Anshika was sleeping on the couch, she had fallen asleep when she was just looking at the sky, the morning light falls on her sleeping face making her features look calm and beautiful at the same time.
She jolted awake, sitting upright as a sharp breath escaped her lips. Her heart raced as she stared around the room, trying to remember where she was. For a moment, the nightmare still felt terrifyingly real, lingering in the corners of her mind. She slowly pulled the blanket closer, taking a few deep breaths until her heartbeat began to settle.
"It was just a dream," she whispered to herself, though the fear refused to disappear completely.
She took her phone from the side table, her hands shaking slightly as she reached for the phone, she opened the screen to check the time it was 12p.m. she took a sharp intake of breath before standing up.
After a long time she feel free almost fresh but still the memories don't left her.
She walked towards the washroom taking every step carefully, she closed the door from behind and looked at her face in the mirror, her hand rose up to her cheek it was red maybe she have slept on the same side for hours.
After sometime she came out from the washroom, Anshika put the towel on the bed and opened to door to meet her parents downstairs.
She walked downstairs and found her dad watching today's News and her mom is in the kitchen making lunch.
She walked towards her mom and hugged her from behind with a smile inhaling her scent.
Her mom gasped as she put the spoon down and turned to hug her too. "Oh you are finally awake. Did you have a good sleep, mera bachaw?"
Anshika smiled brightly as she said "Ofcourse mom!"
Her mom said already picking up the spoon. "Wait I make breakfast for you, tell me what do you want to eat?"
"Umm.... I will just eat a fruit that will be enough for me, I will cut it by myself." Anshika replied already jumping on the slap of the kitchen counter
Her mother nodded before getting back to her work.
Till then Anshika chew the mango.
Her mother said "Be ready tomorrow at night, your father's friend son is getting married tomorrow so he invited all of us. Okay be ready."
Anshika swallowed hard at the name of marriage, she has started getting afraid of marriage after what happened to her after getting married her abused her made her clean the whole house by herself and at the end he divorced after giving her all those marks she have.
She nodded before running upstairs, she closed the door quietly as much as possible she slid down against the door, her knees drawn close as tears streamed silently down her face. Her arms wrapped tightly around herself, as if holding on was the only thing keeping her from falling apart. She lowered her head, trying to steady her trembling breaths while the memories replayed in her mind. The room remained painfully quiet, broken only by the soft sound of her crying.
Anshika whispered through her sobs "It is okay Anshika it is past nothing will happen you are not going to your own wedding it's his wedding not yours.... calm down."

Outside, the city had already come alive, with distant traffic and voices drifting through the window.A gentle breeze moved the curtains as Manya remained curled up beneath the sheets.
"Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!" Manya shouted like she is calling a devil stretching her hands while still laying on the bed.
Manya sat upright still sleepy, her body ache after endless work she yawned once before going to fresh up.
She got ready in a simple blue pants and a blue top wearing a white shrug on it while tying her hair in a neat ponytail.
She stood in front of the mirror she picked a nude shade of pink lipstick and applied it on her lips with passionate ease, she took her blush and dab some on her brush before applying it on her cheeks.
"You are perfect, you don't need to impress boys because boys are already falling for you." She winked at herself in the mirror took her brown purse before walking out of the apartment to reach her job.
She stood outside waiting for her taxi then finally a taxi came she sit on it and the way for her job started.
She entered the office with a file and walked towards the receptionist to greet her, "Good morning ji!" She said before walking away.
Receptionist stopped her before she could walk away "Dipti mam is calling you in her office."
Manya looked at her eyes widen "Is it important for you to tell me now, you just ruined my mood she will scold me trust me!"
Receptionist just shrugged before getting back to her work.
While Manya took the lift to get to her office.
She took a deep breath as she knocked on her door, "Come in." Dipti voice came from inside
Manya entered and closed the door behind. "Yes mam?"
"So Ms. Manya we get an email today from a special client that have a wedding tomorrow so they asked for a best event planner and I suggested you, so I want you to do your best tomorrow okay."
Manya nodded and asked "But, mam who is the client, like name?"
Dipti smirked and said "Shekhawat's,"
Manya mouth fell open as she started jumping in excitment her feet barely touched the ground "Aaahhh, thank you mam!!"
Dipti laughed and nodded "I want your best tomorrow okay."
Manya nodded not trusting her voice.
The Shekhawat's wedding she had already read many articles about them they are very rich and all and she is going to attend it tomorrow not as a guest but as a event planner, still it's enough for her.
